Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Job Developer to join our team. The Job Developer will play a crucial role in connecting job seekers with employment opportunities that match their skills, interests, and career goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the job market, and a passion for helping others succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Find employer partners by going to events, door to door, email campaigns, and more! 
• Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify job openings and facilitate placements for clients.
• Conduct outreach to local businesses and organizations to promote our services and build partnerships.
• Stay informed about labor market trends, industry developments, and resources for job seekers.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.
• Be the face of RiseKit 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, counseling, social work, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Have 1-5 years of experience in job development, career counseling, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of job search strategies, employment trends, and labor market information.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and effectively advocate on behalf of clients.
• Have a list of existing employer partners 
• Proven ability to network and develop relationships with employers, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in job development, career counseling, or related areas.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, veterans, and/or formerly incarcerated individuals.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
